“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
✨
Grace opens the door; confession walks through it. We approach the throne of grace with confidence, then agree with grace by speaking what God has said. Grace is God’s supply; the tongue is grace’s chosen instrument.
π Verse of the Day
“We… having the same spirit of faith… we believe, and therefore speak.” — 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)
π Reflection
Scripture never separates faith from speech. We believe with the heart and confess with the mouth (Romans 10:10). Jesus tied mountains to mouths: “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain… and shall not doubt in his heart… he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23–24). And wisdom reminds us: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21).
This is why your confession must echo grace, not feelings. In the words of Brother Branham, “The right mental attitude toward any divine promise of God will bring it to pass.” — Principles of Divine Healing (51-0923). Align the heart to the promise and let the tongue agree: that is how grace “finds” expression in your need (Hebrews 4:16).
Confession is not noise; it is covenant alignment. Joshua was told to keep the Word in his mouth (Joshua 1:8), and Joel taught the weak what to say: “Let the weak say, I am strong.” (Joel 3:10). Your mouth becomes the doorway where grace walks into the situation.
And remember the balance: we can arrange the mechanics—prayer, reading, fasting, confessing—but without the Spirit’s breath nothing truly moves. As Branham said, “It just won’t move… until the Dynamics come.” — It Is The Rising Of The Sun (65-0418M). So we speak the Word in faith and lean on the Holy Ghost to animate the Word we confess.
Put simply: grace supplies, faith believes, confession agrees, the Spirit performs.
That is throne-to-tongue flow.
π§ Practice Today
-
Approach: Come boldly to the throne (Hebrews 4:16).
-
Align: Choose one promise that fits your need (e.g., Isaiah 41:10; Philippians 4:19).
-
Agree: Speak it morning / noon / night (2 Corinthians 4:13; Mark 11:23).
-
Act: Take one step that matches your confession (James 2:26).
-
Ask for the Dynamics: Invite the Holy Spirit to breathe on what you’ve spoken (John 6:63).
π Takeaway
Grace opens; confession enters.
π Say what grace has said until what grace has given shows up.
π Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, I come to Your throne of grace. I believe Your Word, and I agree with it aloud. Breathe Your Dynamics upon my confession and let Your promise live in my situation. In Your holy Name, Amen.
