📖 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…” — Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
✨
Grace is God’s initiative; confession is our agreement. Grace proceeds confession (Ephesians 2:8), yet grace also works on confession because faith speaks what grace has supplied (2 Corinthians 4:13). As Brother Branham taught, “The right mental attitude toward any divine promise of God will bring it to pass.” Grace supplies; faith agrees; confession gives voice to that agreement.
📖 Verse of the Day
“With the heart man believeth… and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” — Romans 10:10 (KJV)
💭 Reflection
Confession (homologeō—“to say the same”) is not hype; it’s covenant alignment. Jesus tied mountains to mouths (Mark 11:23–24) and taught weak hearts to speak covenant strength: “Let the weak say, I am strong.” (Joel 3:10). This is why Branham pressed believers to posture heart and speech together: “Your faith… brings the prayer and God together on the scene… ‘Speak the word… just say the Word, and everything’s all right’… and now, faith does the rest of it.” -
Confession doesn’t create truth; it agrees with the Truth until experience catches up (Joshua 1:8; Proverbs 18:21). And we remember the balance: mechanics (our praying/reading/speaking) are real, but “It just won’t move… until the Dynamics come.” William Branham. The Holy Spirit animates the Word we confess.
So yes, grace works on confessions:
-
We confess forgiveness because grace provides it (1 John 1:9).
-
We confess healing because grace purchased it (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:17).
-
We confess victory because grace won it (Revelation 12:11).
And again, “Every promise of God will be brought to pass if you take the right mental attitude towards it.” - William Branham
🧭 Practice for Today
-
Choose one promise for your situation. 2) Meditate it. 3) Speak it morning/noon/night for 7 days (2 Cor 4:13). 4) Pray it at the throne of grace (Heb 4:16). 5) Take one matching step (James 2:26).
🌅 Takeaway
Grace is God’s supply; confession is our “amen.” Say what grace has said—until what grace has given shows up.
🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for grace that came first. Teach my heart to believe and my mouth to agree. Breathe Your Dynamics on Your Word in me, and let promise move from Scripture into my story. Amen.
