🧩 GOD SUPPLIES WISDOM BEFORE HE SUPPLIES RESOURCES

πŸ“–

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally…”
James 1:5 (KJV)

✨

Before God places resources in your hands, He places wisdom in your heart.
Wisdom is the divine strategy behind every supply.
Without wisdom, resources become scattered; with wisdom, resources become multiplied.

God never intended you to receive blessings you do not have the wisdom to steward.
Before He increases what you have, He increases your understanding.
Before He enlarges your portion, He enlarges your insight.

This pattern appears again and again in Scripture:
God prepares the mind before He provides the means.

Let today settle deeply:
Wisdom is the foundation upon which divine supply is built.

πŸ“– Verse of the Day

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)

✨ Reflection

Resources in the hands of a person without wisdom lead to waste.
But resources in the hands of a person God has filled with wisdom lead to multiplication and lasting impact.

When God supplied Solomon with a kingdom, He first supplied wisdom (1 Kings 3:9–12).
The throne did not make Solomon wise —
wisdom made Solomon fit for the throne.

When Joseph was lifted from prison to palace, what made him trustworthy with national resources?
Wisdom given from God (Genesis 41:38–40).
Without divine wisdom demonstrated by Joseph, the wealth of Egypt would have collapsed during famine.

When Moses was called to lead Israel, God supplied wisdom through His presence before supplying manna, water, and victory.
Wisdom first.
Provision next.

When the early Church faced distribution problems, they did not pray for more food —
they prayed for men filled with wisdom (Acts 6:3).
Why?
Because where wisdom flows, resources follow.

When Jesus fed the multitude, the miracle began not with bread but with instruction and order — divine wisdom (Mark 6:38–41).
The supply came through wisdom, not chaos.

God never wastes miracles.
He does not multiply what cannot be managed.
He prepares the vessel before He pours the oil.

So when God begins giving you clarity of mind…
When He starts giving you discipline…
When He rearranges your priorities…
When He convicts you about stewardship…
When He sharpens your decisions…

Rejoice.
It means provision is on the way.

Wisdom is the preparation.
Supply is the manifestation.

🎯 Takeaway

When wisdom arrives, supply is already on its way.

πŸ™ Prayer

Father, give me wisdom for every area of my life.
Prepare my mind to receive what You have prepared for my hands.
Teach me to steward resources with honour, understanding, and fear of the Lord.
Let divine wisdom shape my decisions, direct my steps, and protect my blessings.
Make me a vessel ready for supply.
Amen.

πŸ“ Assignment for Today

Identify one area where you need more wisdom (finances, family, work, ministry).
Ask God specifically:

“Lord, give me wisdom to manage what You are about to supply.”

Then write the first insight, prompt, or thought that rises in your spirit.
